As a Memory Care Manager a typical day might include:
-Advocating patience, cheerfulness and a positive work environment.
-Willingness to get to know your team and customers on a personal level.
-Assisting in the scheduling of staff for the wellness department.
-Effectively be able to communicate with team members, residents, physicians, families and healthcare partners.

To be the ideal Memory Care Manager expert for this role:
-Be an LPN, RN, Social Worker with two or more years of management experience working with persons with dementia; or college degree with documentation course work in dementia care, plus one year of experience working with persons with dementia.
-2+ years progressive experience working with persons with dementia.
-Have strong clinical, assessment and documentation skills.
-Must love being a leader and helping people.
