Tower Technician III Job Details
Involves being the senior / lead climber & technician in the crew.
Responsible for tower top operations which included but are not limited to the following functions:
Radio installation,
Antenna installation
Fiber optic connections
RF jumpers Connecting
Identification of RFDS elements and implementation at the top
Troubleshooting & Support for commission / integration tasks
Tower Technician III Position Requirements:
Mentor
Trainer / Teacher
Enabler & Developer
Ambition to Become a Crew Lead
Responsible for supporting your Antenna & Line foreman - accounting activities on the site from materials to staff to tools and day to day job functions and task fulfillment
Responsible for the safety of your crew
Tower Climbing: 3 years
Tower Technician III Required Certifications
Authorized Climber Certification
Commscope Connector Tool Certified
NSN or Ericsson PTID and Certifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tower Top Lead Climber in telecom
Minimum 4 years of experience as a technician in telecom
Driver?s License
