Functional Responsibilities
General Accounting
Reconcile Bank Accounts
Prepare Wire Transfers
Prepare semi-monthly Payroll
Calculate monthly commissions and incentives for Territory Managers, Regional Managers
Reporting Daily sales
Prepare month end adjusting accounting entries
Report International accounting information to German parent
Prepare monthly Financial Closing
Prepare annual Financial Closing
Analysis of Balance Sheet and Income Statements
File Tax reporting for
Danbury ? Property Tax
All States Sales Tax
Corporate tax reporting by State
Federal Tax reporting
Control the physical Inventory count process
Ensure sales tax compliance
Adding new products to accounting system
Support other functions of the company: Executive, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service
Report monthly customer churn to Territory Managers
Other duties deemed necessary by management
Requirements
BS in Accounting/Finance
5-7 years? experience
Expert MS-Excel and advanced Word/Outlook/Power Point
Experience with LAN Server-based accounting package for small business such as SAGE, Great Plains, Other
Leadership skills and a desire to grow professionally
