Summary
The Technical Support/Sales Engineer position requires a customer service focused
individual. The engineer provides customers with prompt and accurate answers. The position?s main
focus is phone support which includes inbound and outbound calling. The technical phone support
requires the knowledge to select from a wide range of sensors and instrumentation to meet the
customer?s application or requirement needs, create quotes, enter orders, online chat and provide post sales technical support.

Shall maintain the quality requirements to meet the standards established by the Company.
Provide Customer Service by meeting the needs of the customer and providing an exceptional customer satisfaction experience.
Multitasking, 30 phone calls per day, 40 emails per day
Day to day will learn products and how to support them (load cell, gauges, controllers, meters, pressure pipes and sensors). This person will then put those things together or troubleshoot something wrong in the field (program meter, evaluate situation to help customer)
NO design/engineering work. It will strictly all be sales.
Continue to learn and train on product lines and continuously update knowledge of new products.
Identify customers' needs and provide the 'best' or 'total' solution from a wide range of products and services.
Maintain exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written
Create customer quotations and enter sales order.
Meet and exceed key performance measurements which include quantity and quality metrics.
Support Internal Customers such as Customer Service, Sales, Canada, International Subs, etc.
Must thrive in a high-performance environment.

Computer Skills
Experience with Microsoft Office programs and strong computer knowledge

B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2-5 years of Engineering experience OR industrial instrumentation and process control experience (Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer)
2 years experience as technical support and sales engineering
Preferably support experience with sensors and instrumentation
Need someone who wants to talk with the customers on the phone and help people
