Sales & Planning Analyst Job Opening in Northampton, Massachusetts - WEBS - America's Yarn Store is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Sales and Planning Analyst . This role will assist the Planning Manager in evaluating the business and recommending improvements, both from a sales and an operations standpoint. This is a salaried position.
This person will handle a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:
* Running systematic and ad hoc sales analysis reports through a variety of reporting tools and platforms
* Assist planning manager in vendor analysis to prioritize and optimize inventory
* Providing weekly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting as necessary
* Analyze website analytics using Google Analytics and other internal and external tools to identify areas of opportunity and improvement
* Continually identify opportunities for cost savings throughout the organization
* Duties may also include assisting with 3rd party seller marketplaces
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
* Bachelor?s Degree
* 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Experience with Google Analytics
* Comfortable working with large data files
* Eagerly willing to tackle problems and present solutions
* Strong critical thinking & problem solving abilities
This person should also be obsessively detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and have a strong work ethic. We have a fun but very fast-paced environment.
