Sales Representative - Construction Piles & Services Job Opening in Santa Ana, California - Goliath Tech Piles is an exciting market leader and innovator for helical screw piles for the construction industry, focused on servicing the needs for low-rise construction foundation solutions, underpinning, and for manufactured homes, decks, lighting, and signage, with over franchise 150 locations in the USA.
We are currently expanding into Southern California and building a Sales team based in Santa Ana to develop the business in SoCal. The Sales Account Manager for the Southern California operation will develop relationships within the Construction Industry, Underpinning, Solar Industry, Manufactured Home Industry, and other market niches where our helical piles and installation services are applicable. This position will be key to driving the future growth of the company, and it?s a truly unique and exciting challenge for the right candidate.
Compensation Structure: $36K base, + commissions & bonuses, for a total of $80K to $100K in year 1, depending on performance. Year 2 onwards: continuous growth in compensation as the business grows.
Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with target customers that will generate recurring revenue (General Contractors, Solar systems Installers, Mobile/Manufactured Home installers, Signage Companies, Rebar Installers, and many other niche markets)
- Aggressive Cold calling as well as follow up on inbound leads from marketing programs
- Regular Field Sales (customer meetings, education, project quoting)
- Develop relationships with Structural and Geo-technical engineers that will spec in our helical pile solutions
- Execution & Consistent Outbound Sales Efforts: You will meet and exceed business revenue objectives by establishing plans for each market segment and channels, actively engaging and meeting customers, setting up meetings & education sessions, and nurturing relationships with our channels/customers to ensure revenue growth.
- Quoting & Closing Sales: you will be responsible for preparing and following up on quotes, and closing sales.
- Reporting: You will provide weekly activity reports against objectives so that we can track your progress and provide support to ensure your success.
- CRM System management: all activity (key customer info & sales process, quotes) will be managed through our CRM and you will be expected to use it daily.
Educational expectations: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from College or university or 5+ years related to experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications required:
Proven track record of Sales
3+ years proven experience in Sales of construction supply, materials, and/or services
Solid understanding of construction industry and bringing new services/products to market
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
Strong self-motivation and drive to succeed, with an emphasis on achieving and exceeding business objectives.
Strong written and verbal English is a must.
Strong Computer and internet/IT skills
Ability to prepare solid presentation material and follow up communication & documentation
Strong Organizational skills and drive
