YOU As an Egen Software Developer, you will work on a tight-knit team of engineers that are extremely motivated and dedicated to building beautiful, cutting edge software. We work on a broad range of business initiatives and objectives by leveraging a wide set of technologies and tools. You?ll design, code, test and run the tech stack is based on Java and Angular. Our custom-built applications are typically deployed as microservices and integrate with technologies such as Kafka, Storm, and Elasticsearch. We are working on a continuous deployment pipeline that leverages Mesos, Docker, and Marathon to provide rapid on-demand releases. Responsibilities
Work on everything from backend, user-interface, and content management to messaging, database systems, and web services.
You will be relied on to:
Create. You will work with the most cutting edge web technology stacks - Java 8, AngularJS, RESTful webservices, Kafka, NoSQL DB.
Innovate. We constantly iterate on features and product packages turning a prescient eye to the industry.

Qualifications
4+ years of Java or Javascript experience (Experience on both a big plus)
Experience with Java and/or Javascript MVC frameworks (AngularJS or React a plus)
Experience with functional Java and Javascript libraries
Understanding of noSQL and SQL database technologies and data transfer technologies (Elasticsearch & PostgreSQL are pluses)
Strong attention to detail and debugging skills·Strong understanding of front and/or back end unit testing
Ability to quickly learn and develop against unfamiliar APIs
Fanatically responsible with ability to estimate and manage time effectively and deliver stories on time
Strong communications skills - both written and verbal.
Team player with a can-do attitude that has the ability to work closely with internal teams across multiple offices and departments
BA/BS or above from a Computer Science program preferred, but will consider previous experience·Functional programming skills are a plus
Comfortable working with git or similar source-control systems
