Software Developer - GUI Job Opening in Bloomingdale, Illinois - Our client, a leading manufacturer of dispensing and cooling equipment for the food service industry, is seeking a Software Developer to assist with developing software for user interfaces, accessing databases for software input/output, and back-end development. Project examples include user interfaces for engineering software, data analytics solutions for field engineers, prototyping new software concepts, and back-end software to support import of input data into software.
Responsibilities:
Write UI software across a range of product domains
Implement UI widgets using Qt framework in a Linux environment
Design embedded systems using C++, QML, JavaScript and Python
Create functional specifications and test plans
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related)
1-2 years of experience programming in Python, C++, Java, and/or Matlab
Experience using agile development methods.
GUI application development using Qt.
Software architecture and design
and SQL Development
