Job Description ( Village-Based Rural Alaska ? Mid-Level PAs/NPs):
Provide acute, chronic, emergency and preventive care to outlying village residents in accordance with NSHC?s mission, philosophy, policies and procedures while under the direct supervision of physicians in Nome, Alaska.
Minimum Requirements ? Mid-Level PAs/NPs
A Master's degree in an accredited Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program is required. Must be licensed to practice as a Mid-Level Provider in the State of Alaska; NCCPA, PALS, Medevac, ACLS and BLS ; DEA#. In addition, must maintain a current collaborating agreement with a Physician or Physicians on the NSHC Medical Staff.
