Scheduling Coordinator Job Opening in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Diagnostic Professionals, Inc. provides high-end radiology services with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging facilities ready to serve our community in four locations: Ft. Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, and Coconut Creek. Diagnostic Professionals, Inc. is committed to delivering friendly, efficient and compassionate patient care.
We are currently hiring a Full-Time Scheduler to join our centralized department.
Applicant must be a team player which displays a positive attitude, possess excellent communication skills, and has the ability to multi-task.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for obtaining complete and accurate clinical, demographic and financial information during the scheduling process. Enters data in scheduling system or other applications. Provides the customer with prep and other appointment instructions. Largely responsible for scheduling complex procedures.

Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications

Course in Medical Terminology required

Compensation and Benefits Diagnostic Professionals, Inc. offers an excellent benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision (and more) for those working over 30+ hours a week as well as competitive pay. This position is full time located in our corporate office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Education and/or Minimum Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
2-5 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area.
3+ years in Patient Access/Scheduling preferred.
Some college coursework is preferred
Bi-lingual a PLUS
