Rapidly growing central Massachusetts sub-prime motorcycle finance company is seeking a high energy individual to support all accounting aspects of the firm. The firm specializes in financing motorcycles in the sub-prime market. The successful candidate must be able to multitask in the fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment of a rapidly growing company. Experience working with the owner/CEO and the CFO in an entrepreneurial setting, and interfacing with other members of management is essential. Organization, tact, and superior communication skills are absolute requirements of the position. The successful candidate must also possess excellent time management skills and the ability to accurately set and meet deadlines. This position has significant growth potential. Responsibilities include:
Cash reconciliations
Maintaining the General Ledger, posting journal entries, and closing the books each month for the firm and captive leasing and finance companies
Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports
Transaction processing
Interfacing with various suppliers and service providers
Recommending and implementing process improvements

Other requirements are:
An associate?s degree in accounting
Expertise with QuickBooks
At least 5 years of office experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
An affinity for customer service, both external and internal
Experience in an entrepreneurial setting is highly desirable
Experience with DealPack software is highly desirable
