Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:
Work with the Warehouse Manager to supervise the daily operations of the warehouse.
Open the facility each day and supervise the route Check In process.
Check In completed routes and bill client for all services rendered.
Responsible for maintaining location inventory accuracy and perform weekly Cycle Counts. Report and research all findings.
Assist Location Manager in the recruitment and retainment of qualified independent contractors to meet company objectives.
Monitor all corporate safety and security requirements for the daily warehouse operation.
Responsible for vendor reverse logistics and product returns.
Participates in the training and professional development of warehouse staff.
Approves time and attendance data for warehouse staff.
Qualifications:
4 Year college degree in Management, Transportation, or Logistics is preferred.
Minimum 1 Year transportation or terminal management experience is preferred.
Demonstrates a strong attention to detail.
Identifies and resolves problems.
Identifies opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources and solutions.
Provides timely and professional support to all internal/external customers and vendors.
Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence staff.
Ability to work extended hours as required.
