We are hiring for the following positions: � Cooks (Grill, Prep, Line, Catering) � Servers � Bussers � Housekeepers � Maintenance � Dishwashers At least 1 YEAR of professional work experience for all positions. Entry-level applicants will not be considered. Please read through the following description carefully. We are staffing for part-time, full-time, and on-call positions so open availability is very important. We want individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, love challenges, and work well in team-oriented environments. We value positive attitudes, adaptability, and people with great enthusiasm for their work. Please check all egos at the door! Cooks must be prepared to talk about their specialties, knife skills, and what station they are the strongest in. Servers prepare to talk about experience in multiple settings and styles (banquet service, fine-dining, casual-dining, etc.). Servers must be polished, presentable, and outgoing! We want individuals who are able to maintain professionalism and poise under the most stressful of circumstances. Previous hotel experience for Housekeeping and Maintenance applicants a plus! QUALIFICATIONS: Line and Station Cooks � Must be able to state your specialty dishes and/or if you have a strong background in a specific type of cuisine. � Experienced in different line stations: saut�, grill, fry, fish, butcher, pastry, breakfast (eggs made-to-order), etc. � Fast and flexible learner�able to absorb different menus and follow new recipes. � Dynamic culinary individual, passionate and detail-oriented, with good communication skills and leadership abilities. � Possess a great understanding of food preparation and presentation. � Enjoy cooking in a variety of environments and thrive in fast-paced, high pressure situations. Prep Cooks � Possess excellent knife skills�able to wash, peel, chop and slice! � Be prepared to talk about the different types of cuts and in which areas you excel. � Having your own knives is a plus. � Experience with common kitchen equipment and knowledge of safe use a must. Servers � Extensive knowledge of food and wine. � Fine dining experience preferable. � Excellent table side service. � Capable of juggling multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service. � Ability to speak another language a plus. Dishwashers � Organized and efficient�take pride in keeping your area clean! � Knowledge of proper rinsing, washing and sanitizing techniques. � Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Housekeepers � Experience with laundry duties--washing, ironing, and folding. � Familiar with various cleaning products and chemicals. � Physically able to climb stairs, bend, and reach without difficulty. � Previous hotel experience a plus. Maintenance � Able to perform work orders in a timely manner to repair, paint, clean and/or maintain common areas. � Ability to determine causes of operating failures and apply general rules to produce answers. � Experience with routine building checks of systems and equipment to ensure proper operation. � Knowledge of maintenance and repair, including materials and chemicals. � Knowledge of tools and equipment used in building/property maintenance � General knowledge of building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and fire codes.
