We are looking for a developer to design, document, develop, implement and unit test software modules on time and following existing standards and guidelines. He/she should be familiar with software optimization, and be able to conduct performance analysis and propose solutions to improve performances when applicable. He/she will work effectively with Product Development, Technical Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance to design and develop high quality software for internal/external customers that works as expected (i.e. matching the provided requirements). He/she will have knowledge of production Support, and be able to investigate issues, and software load monitoring and work experience:
2-5+ years C++ Software Development experience
Object-oriented languages, design patterns
Oracle
Back-end development
Middle ware
Multi-tier architecture, in a UNIX / Linux environment
Analytical Thinking
Ability to deliver design documents and basic presentations
Agile preferred
Experience in the travel industry preferred
Passenger Name Record (PNR) experience a plus
