My client is looking for full-time front end / web application developers to help build modern user interfaces for web-based network security applications.
Ideal candidates would be experienced bringing interaction and visibility into real-time data-driven applications.
As a member of the engineering team, you will develop and test web applications for scalable network security products.
You will take design mockups prepared by a UX designer and turn them into working code.
This job involves working closely with the design team as they figure out how a feature will take shape.
Through agile process, you?ll write code to query our back-end data stores in order to bring a modern user interface to life.
Strong culture of performing peer reviews of work, both with designs and with code implementations, so collaboration skills are key.

Required Qualifications:
*3-5 years experience developing user interfaces in a web environment.
*Experience with JavaScript-based client-side web frameworks like and React and/or server-side scripting language such as PHP, Python, or Ruby.
*Strong knowledge of standards-based development with HTML5, CSS3, Ajax, JavaScript.
*Strong knowledge of best practices and modern web design trends.
*Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in small teams.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with writing unit tests and automated functional tests.
Experience with creating data visualizations, including JavaScript graphing libraries such as d3.
Some experience creating mock-ups, prototypes and wireframes with tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, Axure, etc.
Familiarity with emerging web technologies such as ECMAScript 6, Web Sockets.
Knowledge of user-centered design, usability heuristics, HCI literature.
Understanding of application layer network protocols.
Experience with agile development methodologies (SCRUM, TDD, etc.).
Experience writing regular expressions.
Experience writing shell scripts.
Experience developing under Linux.
Familiar with concepts from computer security.
Understanding of, or background using, high-speed networking devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems, or deep packet inspection (DPI) systems.
