Mandatory Technical Skills
6+ years software development experience in multiple languages (Scala/Java/Python ).
3+ years Big data development experience * Must have expertise in the use of SQL/HQL/NoSQL * Strong experience with Mapreduce, Hive, Spark, Sqoop, Kafka, Presto, Impala.
Strong experience with NoSQL data modelling with etc.
Solid experience with OLAP, NoSQL and MPP/columnar database technologies
Ability to perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning
Strong skills in In-memory applications, Database Design, Data Integration, ETL and MPP Architecture.
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing & BI Concepts.
Experience writing shell scripts using (ksh, bash, perl or python).
Experience with Pivotal Greenplum , SAP Hana, Teradata is desirable.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Desirable Technical Skills
Need to bring in Thought Leadership and be Innovative.
Need to Keep Pace with latest trends and technologies in Analytics and Visualisation area.
Mandatory Functional Skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to in solving business process and/or technical problems
