Software Engineer Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - The Software Engineer at American Research Bureau designs and implements custom software solutions for use across all areas of our company. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of projects and technologies and will contribute to all aspects of those projects from initial concept, to design, build, testing, and maintenance.
This is not a position where you ?keep your head down and code.? It is a position where you creatively develop great solutions to take advantage of business opportunities and solve business problems.
Our current base of solutions includes custom Java desktop applications, DB2 and MySql backends, and integration with commercial and open web api?s. Future projects include adding features to existing applications, developing new web applications, increasing mobile access, and taking advantage of new opportunities.

This is a full time position with benefits. Salary is negotiable. We will consider less experienced applicants who are eager to learn, and experienced professionals looking for this type of opportunity.
Office hours are 9:00-5:30. Overtime work is rare. The offices are located in an appealing, non-congested neighborhood and are clean, quiet, and comfortable.
