Seasonal Tax Associate Job Opening in Shawnee, Kansas - SS&C Solutions Tax and Advisory Services is adding a Seasonal Tax Associate in its Shawnee, KS office.
Seasonal Associates play a critical and visible role serving a range of clients and leverage their tax preparation expertise during the firm's traditional ?busy season? of January through mid-April , while also gaining valuable experience to advance their career in public accounting.
Job Description:
Seasonal Associates are experienced providers of proactive tax consulting, preparation and planning for a diverse group of clients and entities. Seasonal staff will have involvement in many phases of client engagements.
Major Responsibilities:
Support and preparation of complex Federal, State and Local Income Tax returns
Contribute to tax planning engagements
Gather, prepare and accurately record information
Provide proactive client retention through excellent service
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in tax preparation and compliance
Experience with Creative Solutions Accounting Suite (UltraTax) is preferred but not required
