Home Health Care Administrator Job Opening in Columbus, Ohio - Functions:
*Provide to leadership skills regarding the needs of the community, personnel needs, financial needs, professional practices and clinical planning.
*Assure documentation of services provided is accurate and timely. Implement effective budgeting and accounting systems that promotes the health and safety of the patients.
*Develop and maintain sound administrative policies and management activities including budget control, cost determination and financial reports.
*Manage and direct qualified personnel to carry out the policies and procedures of the agency. Ensure adequate staff education and evaluation.
*Organize and direct agency's ongoing daily functions.
*Oversee liaison activity, ensuring the accuracy of information and activities; and to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies.
Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited college/university is preferred, with experience in the healthcare field.
*A minimum of two years of experience in health service administration; and/or a minimum of two years of experience in management or administrative experience in home health care or related health programs that may include hospitals, nursing facilities, hospice, etc.
*Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all home health disciplines, professional public, patients, families and Medical Director.
