Territory Sales Representative Job Opening in Portland, Maine - Immediate opening with Midwest Fastener Corp., a national fastener company servicing hardware stores, home centers and lumber yards. As a leader in the industry for more than 35 years, we are seeking a professional, motivated and results driven Territory Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory in Central and Southern Maine.
This individual will travel within this territory servicing and developing business with our existing customers; as well as growing the territory by establishing new accounts.
Has proven success in a sales territory.
Has a strong work ethic, is self-motivated and able to work independently , while maintaining a solid relationship with insides sales and management.
Is highly organized and detail oriented.
Is able to plan, organize and maintain a territory schedule.
Is computer literate; MS Office, Internet, Smart Phone technology.
Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
Has excellent customer service skills.
Daily responsibilities:
Visit customers to place orders and service accounts.
Recruit new accounts.
Plan and execute store conversions. Store conversions require lifting, moving and assembling product and equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years solid sales experience required. Experience in the hardware/building material industry preferred.
Job Type:
Independent Sales rep, there are no benefits or reimbursements paid with this position.

Central and Southern Maine; there is not a relocation package available with this position.
