Controller, Staff Accountant Job Opening in Greenville, South carolina - Growing outsourced accounting organization in Upstate South Carolina with multiple clients is searching for talented senior and staff accountants to join our team in the following roles:
Controller/Senior Accountant
Responsibilities will include financial statement reporting and presentation, forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis in various industries.
Tax knowledge is required.
Ability to analyze and develop accounting procedures.
Prior experience in non-profit, construction and/or manufacturing accounting a plus.
The ideal candidate will have experience in CPA firm plus several years in accounting manager and/or controller position.
Staff Accountant :
Responsibilities will include accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll and sales tax knowledge, and general accounting tasks.
Assist engagement manager with recurring accounting functions and additional projects.
Prepare monthly financial statements.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience required.
Experience in a CPA firm a plus.
Part-time and Full-time positions available.
Requirements
Ability to work collaboratively and concurrently on multiple projects.
Must be self-directed and highly motivated to complete projects with accuracy and integrity using strong planning and problem solving skills.
Must have excellent computer skills, including strong working knowledge of QuickBooks desktop and online.
Team player and goal oriented.
Local travel required as majority of work is performed at client location.
