Buyer/Purchasing Dept Job Opening in wichita, Kansas - Buyer/Purchasing Dept Aerospace Systems & Components is looking to hire a replacement in the purchasing department as a junior buyer. Chosen applicant will procure and manage materials, components and outside processes; schedule, expedite, and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers. MUST HAVE SKILL REQUIREMENTS (Do not apply unless you have ALL of these): � Basic Verbal/Written Communication � Ability to communicate both written and verbal to all applicable parties (such as co-workers, vendors, etc.) � Proficiency in Microsoft Software Applications � Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Software applications which will include Word, Excel, Outlook � High degree of professionalism, maturity and communication skills. � Ability to function efficiently in highly demanding situations with attention to detail and accuracy. � Ability to regularly utilize written and verbal communication skills and actively listen. PREFERRED SKILL REQUIREMENTS (These will set you apart from other applicants): � 3 years purchasing experience or 2 year business education min. � Experience with an MRP system, especially Syteline � Experience with price/terms negotiation as well as vendor relations. � Experience with blue print reading. � Experience solving independently..
