Accounting Administrator Job Opening in Chesapeake, Virginia - Quality Enterprises USA, Inc., has an immediate opening in its Accounting Department for an individual with a strong accounting background with an emphasis on Accounts Payable. Duties include the efficient processing of purchase order and non-purchase order invoices. Review and analysis of invoices for proper approval, taxable status for both Sales and Use Tax, 1099 reporting, proper department coding, accurate supporting documentation to meet audit criteria and proper match of PO lines and amounts. Provide full vendor support regarding outstanding and credit invoices. Duties may involve payment distribution and scanning documents for record retention. Must be able to provide positive resolution to all inquiries both at organization and vendor level and maintaining an accurate and organized filing system. Performs other duties as assigned. Successful candidate must have general ledger reconciliation experience, working knowledge of general accounting procedures. We offer competitive pay & good benefits package.

Must be a US Citizen
High School or GED plus (5) years recent accounts payable and general accounting experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of general accounting procedures
General Ledger coding experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft office products and specialized accounting software
Experience with Viewpoint?s Vista software is a plus
Proficient in data entry
Ability to organize and prioritize
Must be accurate and detail oriented
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
Ability to work in a team environment
