Position: System/Network Administrator
Job Description:
Responsible for support, maintenance and implementation of the hospital computing infrastructure systems by:
Implementing strategic infrastructure designs in order to support current and future applications and business needs;
Ensuring hospital systems remain secure and protected from intrusions, viruses and other malware;
Proactively providing system and network upgrades and updates to ensure all devices are maintainable and supported;
Ensuring infrastructure redundancy works as designed and backup and disaster recovery processes are continually maintained to ensure maximum uptime;
Acting as a resource to help resolve escalated user support cases.
Maintain network hardware and software.
Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
Researches and makes recommendations for new information systems and products
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field preferred, or 4+ years experience managing multiple servers in an organization and 2+ years troubleshooting network issues
Preferred certification in Microsoft, Cisco, UNIX, and or VMWare
