We are seeking the perfect candidate that can help facilitate and grow our loyal customer base. We have a passion for pets and a love for their human parents as well. JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for care of LIVE exotic pets including: small animals, rodents, hedgehogs, chinchillas, guiena pigs, ferrets, sugar gliders, birds, freshwater and saltwater fish and coral, reptiles, turtles, frogs, snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, etc.
Exceptional Customer Service and interpersonal relational skills are needed.
Promote sales of live animals and pet supplies
MUST BE "Cool Under Pressure" and be able to work in a high pace and busy retail setting
Practical problem solving and conflict resolution skills are important.
Cashier and Money handling responsibilities are required.
MUST BE Hard-working, flexible, able to adapt to new and exciting job descriptions as given, and MUST BE dependable.
MUST BE a friendly and helpful face to our customers
MUST BE very teachable and able to learn in order to become a knowledgeable and reputable source of pet information to our customers.
Personal and/or Professional animal care experience is preferred.
Sales, Retail, and Customer Service experience is preferred.
