Children Residential Manager Job Opening in Woodbine, New jersey - Hours: 40 hours per week- on call responsibilities.
Function: An experienced, competent manager who is responsible for the administrative and clinical programming of a fully supervised psychiatric youth residence, service consumers ages 11 to 17.
Requirements: Masters in Behavioral Healthcare related field and LCSW or LPC. Possession of a valid driver's license. Minimum of (5) years experience working with and families with mental health problems. (1) year of supervisory experience. Previous residential experience preferred.
1. Assists in the maintenance of the program's physical plant and vehicles.
2. Insures the professional delivery of services to all consumers and consumer's families.
3. Participates in making and managing the budget.
4. Hires and dismisses residential staff in consultation with the Director of Children and Family Services.
5. Trains, clinically and administratively supervises and evaluates the performance of the residential staff.
6. Oversees the quality of care provided to residential consumers.
7. Maintains, reviews and revises Policies & Procedures, keeping them in compliance with the DHS standards, JACHO standards and good practice standards.
8. Participates in continuous quality improvement committees.

10. Supervises the consumers self-medication and documents such as policy dictates.
11. Completes treatment plans within timeframes established by CCS policy.
12. Completes progress notes within 24 hours of service delivery.
