Accounting Job Opening in New York, New york - Developing and Architecture company in the Mid-town is hiring a full-time Accounting Manager to work with our Accounting and Operation team.
Job Description:
Ability to perform A/P, A/R processing; monthly/recurring runs
Perform bank reconciliations
Generating reports using QuickBooks and Excel
Regularly financial performance reviews and forecasting
Communicate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors
AIA requisitions
Assist with other HR & operational projects as needed
Qualification:
Bachelor?s degree required, preferably accounting or related field
4 + years of relevant experience required, preferably in construction industry
An understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency with Quickbooks, Quicken experience is a plus
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUP?s are a plus)
Ability to work unsupervised
Well-developed accuracy, analytical skills
Detail oriented and strong organizational and communication skills both verbal and written a must
Salary based on experience
