Supervisor of Housekeeping and Laundry Services Job Opening in Mobile, Alabama - We are currently seeking a Supervisor of Housekeeping and Laundry Services at the Twin Oaks Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Mobile, Alabama
To plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, sanitary and comfortable manner and to ensure that an adequate supply of laundry and linens are on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents. Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED
Completion of secondary education
Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Must speak and understand English
Training in environmental control and operation of laundry equipment practices and procedures
Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly, maintain resident confidentiality, treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect
