DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT Job Opening in los angeles, California - DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT The purpose of the Director of Development is to design and implement a fundraising plan and to meet the budgeted goals and objectives of the CCEE. Fundraising activities are targeted at individuals, corporations and foundations that support financial literacy and economic reasoning education for K-12 teachers and students in California. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Along with the with the CEO and Executive Director, the Director of Development will develop a plan, identify, and contact existing donors, financial and general industry corporations, foundations interested in financial literacy, education improvement, and the teaching of life skills (also called economic reasoning). This individual will also work with the board of directors to identify and contact prospects that the board believes are potential candidates for investment in the CCEE.
