Office Administrator Job Opening in Lindenwood, Illinois - Office Administrative Position
DOT registered motor carrier, located in Lindenwood, Illinois, is seeking a full-time office administrator to join their team. The preferred candidate would have a strong work ethic, is willing to learn, is an exceptional multitasker and problem solver, can meet deadlines, and works well within a team environment. The candidate must have a general knowledge of QuickBooks, be proficient with Microsoft Office Programs, and preferably have 1-3 years of experience within the transportation industry.
Education Requirements :
High School Diploma (or equivilent)
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
Quarterly Tax Reporting and other accounting related duties assigned
Payroll (QuickBooks)
Bank & credit card reconciliations
Generate and send freight billings / bills of lading
IFTA and DOT reporting, logs, and audits
Generate driver statements
Generate reports
Filing
New Hire Reporting
Union Reporting (Teamsters)
Customer Service
Other duties as assigned
