Territory Sales Manager Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - TERRITORY - GEORGIA & FLORIDA - COMMISSION BASED
Overview of the Position: Responsible for cultivating, managing and growing an assigned sales territory, presenting and selling Montana Silversmiths product lines, soliciting orders to exceed established revenue goals while representing the company in accordance with its policies. Actively traveling the assigned territory to work in store/on location with retail partners and maintaining an awareness of regional competitive conditions.
Required :
*3 years of Sales Experience
*Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
*Strong presentation skills ? develop and sell programs
*Excellent organizational skills are required to handle multiple projects
*Excellent computer and analytical skills to provide timely & accurate information to customers and management.
Job :
· Maintain and increase the sales volume, customer awareness and brand integrity of assigned territory.
· Secure placement of Montana Silversmiths products at customers within the territory.
· Aggressively solicit orders, while seeking additional business opportunities from present accounts.
· Develop additional business through constant field presence, seeking out prospective accounts and potential business within the territory.
· Develop sales forecasts and projections, in conjunction with management, and to be accountable for the attainment of such.
· Interact with, and assist, existing accounts in the development and implementation of promotional programs and product introductions, coordinating these efforts with broader Montana Silversmiths strategies.
· Formulate and outline an annual sales analysis of the territory and aggregate forecast of product, including targeted current, prospective, and pull-through accounts.
· Serve as liaison between accounts and the corporate office, ensuring clear channels of communication for all parties, operating promptly at all times, with integrity and the best interests of the company and account in mind.
· Consult with accounts to recognize their requirements, then supply industry and territory advice to provide direction and strategies to best utilize the brands within the region.
· Assist present and prospective accounts in adopting Montana Silversmiths products based on strategic and competitive advantages offered by Montana Silversmiths.
· Continue to seek out new uses, applications, and avenues for Montana Silversmiths products with present and prospective accounts.
· To be alert to, and promptly report to management, any and all competitive products, merchandising advantages and marketing practices.
· Address and process account complaints in accordance with company policy advising and involving management of any situations beyond the scope of your authority promptly.
· Actively support marketing and merchandising programs adopted and promoted by Montana Silversmiths.
· Recommend the addition of new products, modification or the elimination of existing products to the lines as appropriate.
· Submit any special reports regarding the operation of the territory, acceptance of the product lines, or competitive conditions as may be requested.
· Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, trade shows, conventions as directed and travel as necessary.
The Territory Manager must be a consummate professional who is a dedicated team player working for the overall success of the organization.
