Staff scheduling
Time and attendance
Performance Management
Clinic budget, goals and objectives
Staff meetings
Order supplies
Provide assistance to Nurse Practitioners and Physicians
Patient appointment scheduling
Greet patients
Perform Medical Assistant duties as applicable
Respond to patient concerns
Maintain current with healthcare knowledge; rules, regulations, policies, fee schedules
Train staff
Clinic policies and procedures
Billing; insurance carriers, patient pay, payment plans
Negotiate pricing
Provide supporting medical documentation
Certification; labs, audio equipment, breath alcohol machine, x-ray equipment, staff
Maintain compliance throughout the clinic
Job Requirements:
MS State Nursing Board; strong knowledge of requirements
MS State Department of Transportation experience; DOT physicals, breath alcohol testing, drugs screens
National Registry: strong knowledge of requirements
HIPAA compliance
Medical terminology
Knowledge of insurance networks; billing and coding knowledge; ICD-10, CPT
5+ years Clinic Management experience
Strong communication skills
Relationship building
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and high volume environment
Occupational medicine experience preferred
EHR system knowledge
