Donor Care Supervisor (Blood Bank Supervisor) Job Opening in Meridian, Mississippi - United Blood Services is currently seeking a Donor Care Supervisor (Blood Bank Supervisor) for our Meridian, MS operations. Responsibilities include: daily management of mobile operations and in-center donor room; direct supervision of personnel; ensuring compliance to quality standards, safety rules and SOPs; staff scheduling; maintaining supply inventory; equipment management; ensuring center goal achievement; monthly reports; oversight of training initiatives. Qualified candidates must have min. 3 yrs. healthcare exp.; prior supervisory/mgmt. experience; proven leadership ability; strong organizational skills; effective interpersonal & customer service skills; PC proficiency; ability to understand the blood component manufacturing process, interpret SOPs and coach others to ensure the potency and purity of our blood products are essential. Willing to learn phlebotomy technique & manufacturing process; able to maintain confidentiality. Travel required 20-25% of time; Must have valid driver?s license and able to obtain CDL. On-Call as scheduled.
