HMR Weight Management Services Corp, a subsidiary of the global healthcare company Merck, provides comprehensive evidence-based weight management interventions for employers, hospitals, medical groups, health plans, and direct to patients. HMR?s weight management interventions combine a structured diet, behavioral coaching and monitoring, and physical activity to achieve clinically meaningful weight loss that can help reduce the risks of chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
We are currently seeking a full time Program Operations Specialist to join our dynamic clinic team located at the HMR Program for Weight Management in cooperation with the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. This position involves daily administrative operations, patient customer service and support, participation in marketing efforts, and evening hours. The right person will be an organized self-starter, flexible, open to training, possess a strong numbers aptitude, and willing to model a healthy lifestyle. This individual should also have strong communication skills, a passion for delivering excellent customer service, and a commitment to making a difference in the health of others. The ideal candidate possesses a positive and detail-oriented work ethic and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team towards positive patient outcomes and bettering the health of those we treat.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
First point of contact for patient inquires & referrals
Answering phones and collecting fees for services and products
Ordering meal replacements, completing inventory, and stocking products
Financial responsibilities ? reviewing invoices, balancing bank statements, daily deposits
Data entry ? financial, marketing, and operational
Some limited public speaking
Assist in marketing plans
Participate in weekly meetings ? staff and patient care meetings
Interacting with patients on all financial aspects of the program
Knowledge of the HMR Program and be able to support patients? participation

Possess a strong numbers aptitude
Excellent customer service skills and comfortable interacting with patients

Early evening availability required
