The successful candidate will be working at Lone Star Blower at 1100 Louisiana Street City of South Houston, Texas 77587 - located near Hobby Airport.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Application Engineer / Inside Sales person is responsible for both the direct support of outside sales people and customers but also the planning, executing, and completing projects. This includes coordinating the efforts of various functional groups within Lone Star in order to deliver products according to requirements.
- Prepare commercial and technical proposals as directed by sales personnel and customers
- Read specifications and comment
- Answer inbound sales calls and respond to inquiries from customers
- Manage resources to keep projects on time and within budget
- Professionally interact with customers
QUALIFICATIONS
- Have a Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Distribution or 5 years of direct technical experience in lieu of degree.
- High Level of technical aptitude
- Ability to understand technical drawings and written specifications
- Must be an effective planner and organizer capable of making quick decisions when necessary
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft systems and software
- Compressor or Blower experience or other engineered to order products experience is preferred
- Familiarity with complex machinery with control systems or rotating equipment is preferred.
