Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Dallas, Texas - Our client, a fast-growing IT consulting firm, is seeking a self-motivated inside sales professional to generate leads through a mixture of activities including cold calling, emailing, social selling (using Sales Navigator) and some strategic networking (i.e. attending industry niche networking group meetings and association events).
The goal is to set up appointments for the Founder/CEO and his team of senior consultants to meet with C-level and VP-level senior executives at mid-market to large enterprise target market accounts. You will be measured by outbound/outreach activity (# of touch points using the various business development methods outlined above), # of appointments scheduled per week/month, # of qualified opportunities added to the sales pipeline generated through your efforts, and the ultimate end result of your activities - # of new clients and revenue achieved through leads generated by you.
You must have an entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable in a startup environment. You will receive formal orientation and onboarding training with ongoing sales coaching to help you thrive in your role. You will be taught a prospecting and systematic selling approach that is proven and works. You should be willing to learn this system and apply it on a basis.
Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of inside sales experience, have a strong sense of urgency to maintain a high activity level day in and day out, have experience generating leads and/or selling in the technology industry, understands the complex technical B2B sales cycle, and have a willingness to thrive and develop in the inside sales / lead generation specialist role for at least two years with a desire to evolve to an outside sales role and/or account management role in the future.
This is a full-time position with a Base Salary of $50,000 with benefits. On Target Earnings are $90,000 to $100,000 in Year 1 and $120,000+ in Year 2 and beyond.
