Technical Sales Manager Job Opening in Wixom, Michigan - FRIMO Inc. is a state of the art machine and tooling company, who is expanding its North American market presence in the plastics joining field and has identified the need to hire a Technical Sales Manager. The primary responsibility of this new position will be to develop and grow the plastic joining business in North America.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish FRIMO presence in the plastics joining field in NA
Present and sell company?s Plastic Joining technologies and services to current customers
Secure business with new customers in NA
Prepare action plans and schedules to achieve annual targets
Prepare presentations, sales material and quotations
Plan marketing activities and events with Marketing Coordinator
Execute sales strategies, both short and long range, to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of company products and services
QUALIFICATIONS:
BSME or equivalent with minimum 5 years of sales experience in the plastics joining field
Excellent salesmanship and product demonstration skills
Willing to travel
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key customer personnel from engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good computer skills with a working knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
Technical knowledge of plastic joining technologies like Infrared, Ultrasonic and Hot Plate required
Must have technical aptitude to learn and understand other automotive interior technologies, non-automotive plastic technologies, and processes in a manufacturing environment
Ability to sell company products from a technical point of view and manage the financial aspects of quoting new business
Ability to establish strong relationships with key customers to gain entry into new companies and grow business with existing customers
Ability to negotiate and close on new business opportunities
Proficient with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
Must read and write English
Spanish-speaking a plus
