Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Youngstown, Ohio - About Us - We are a ten year old company that produces high quality pet food for the independent pet channel. We have managed to grow our share to number one within our particular category. This is allowing us to grow our sales force - again. We are a food first approach (great food = happy animals) coupled with strong partnering at retail.
About the Job -This position is centered around visiting pet stores. In those visits, we are trying to accomplish many things - From education and garnering recommendation to classic sales situations that are meant to gain more shelf presence. Being well received at retail is of the utmost. We expect this position to require about 50% travel. We offer a competitive salary, bonus, fully paid health insurance and car allowance.
About You -Loving pets is definitely a if it helps you to be a driven individual. People truly enjoy doing business with us and that says a ton about who we hire. Sales experience is a plus, but there will be a 3 week training boot camp. Having some love and knowledge about pets is also a plus. A capacity for strong partnering and an enthusiastic sense of urgency are the things we seek.
