B2B Sales Development Representative Job Opening in Sarasota, Florida - Sales development reps are tasked with outbound prospecting to a given a list of leads to call. While sometimes these leads are cold called, often they are reached via email, social media, trade shows and other referral sources first in order to make a connection. Sales development reps are tasked with creating opportunities for account executives, and are paid bonuses based on the closings generated by those opportunities.
Achieves sales and retention goals by making proactive contacts to new and existing subscribers in an effort to meet or exceed all individual and/or team sales goals.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual calling and sales revenue objectives
Effectively presents Textmaxx Pro product capabilities and services to prospective subscribers, dealer management systems, and industry organizations through verbal, written, and electronic media.
Drives business with an identified book of leads and opportunities. Assesses the needs of each prospect by asking targeted, high impact questions and positions the appropriate product and/or services that meet those needs.
Utilizes customer relationship management (CRM) software to track status of leads and opportunities.
Uses expertise of market and competitive environments to help position Textmaxx Pro?s services appropriately.
Works well with internal team members to achieve goals (i.e. sales management, customer support, product development, marketing). Actively participates in discussions around product development and marketing strategies.
Provides department support in external client events such as conferences and symposiums as needed. Travels as needed to support such events.
Participates in specials projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree or equivalent of experience and training required
One to three years experience in B2B sales and/or automotive industry sales
Understanding of and passion for the sales process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and follow up skills. Ability to handle multiple types and industries of prospects simultaneously.
Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external personnel
Professional presence.
Proficient in computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office applications and
