Software Developer Job Opening in Pembroke Pines, Florida - Position requires highly motivated, individual contributors who are well versed in the development of mobile applications for the insurance industry. The role requires a strong understanding of the development of mobile applications in an iOS or Android environment, or both, and can be accessed through smartphone devices and / or tablets.
The ability to work on date driven schedules and to write and analyze requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, test plans and documentation, iOS, Xcode, Objective C, Swift. Development of iPhone applications for multiple screen sizes.
Development of secure consumer-oriented applications of all types, especially general contractor and services.
Minimum of 5 years developing and releasing iOS applications and modules. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the management of software development teams.
It is of great importance the experience of web development since the application goes hand in hand with the web and it is part of the project that the two projects are implemented at the same time and the same services and information needs can be programmed.
Develop features across all of our applications, including collaboration in defining requirements, prototyping, designing, coding, testing and deployment.
Provide support (when necessary) to our technical staff when building, deploying, configuring and supporting customer systems.
Participate with our team to define plans to standardize, scale and improve our products and services used to deploy / install / release those products.
Design and create advanced applications for the iOS, Android and Windows platform
Collaborate with multifunctional teams to define, design and send new features.
Work with external data sources, Cloud and API.
Unit test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and overall reliability.
Work on fixing errors and improving application performance.
Expert knowledge of PCI compliance, and OWASP threat model in iOS. Previous iOS application security training a need.
Expert knowledge in iOS 7, 8, 9 and 10 and Apple technologies.
Experience working in OAUTH, AF Networking and NSURL Sessions.
Experience of delivering applications derived from a single source base.
6. Expert knowledge of Objective C and Swift.
7. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
8. Experience in implementing Apple Notification Services as an APN on phones and tablets.
9. Become familiar with the agile development process.
10. Provide technical direction to project developers, and maintenance developers to reach project deadlines.
11. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science desired or equivalent experience in the field.
12. A minimum of 5 years developing required iOS applications, Android and Windows
13. A minimum of 7 years is required in Software and Web Development. This is a 4-6 month contract position, with the potential for additional assignments after completion of this project. Experience developing multiple Android and IOS applications required.
