HR Specialist (Healthcare) Job Opening in Durham, North carolina - HR Specialist
Duke Primary Care Human Resources is looking for a highly organized specialist with strong multi-tasking abilities. The position maintains and reports data for HR activities and is responsible for the coordination of recruitment and onboarding of new employees. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate the recording and maintenance of HR and Payroll data, and the generation and distribution of related reports and information (HR metrics, data requests, etc.).
Perform a variety of specialized, complex activities in the coordination of Human Resources (HR) and Payroll for a large department.
Provide input into any recommendations or Review all personnel forms for completeness, accuracy, timing, and conformity to budget and policy
Conduct preliminary analyses of data, setting forth progress and adverse trends. Utilize advance Excel to set-up, collect, aggregate and report data.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of communications to managers, staff and job candidates (offer letters, publications, education materials, etc.) Utilize advance power point to communicate information.
Coordinate onboarding and recruiting activities and events
Research and respond to issues. Escalate more complex inquiries to the appropriate resource.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Strong emphasis on proactive problem resolution and departmental communications.
Plan, coordinate, and participate in HR related programs and Investigate, document, and resolve HR problems and issues.
Serve as a primary contact for routine HR-related inquiries from managers and staff.
Maintain liaison with HR representatives, Payroll representatives and others across Duke as necessary to obtain and provide information.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Healthcare Human Resources experience strongly preferred.
Organization and Multi-tasking skills
Advance Excel Skills
PowerPoint Skills
SAP experience a plus
