Accounting Associate Job Opening in Fargo, North dakota - The Berg Group, a highly successful real estate investment company with roots in Fargo for the past 30 years, is looking for a Accounting Associate to join their team. This position will be a vital component to our organization, assisting with daily accounting needs.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
Accounts payable entry.
Assist in issuing payments to vendors.
Enter and reconcile credit card transactions.
Record accounts receivable.
Assist in depositing funds into various accounts.
Reconciling bank statements.
Properly classifying payables / receivables.
Complete journal entries for assigned properties / entities.
Assist in creating annual budgets for properties / entities.
Assist with preparing vital monthly reporting.
Performing various accounting functions as assigned.
Maintaining and electronically filing accounts payable-related reports and records.
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of related experience.
Bachelors degree in accounting related field (or equivalent experience).
Organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks using effective time management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
