Patient Intake Representative Job Opening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - We are seeking a patient intake coordinator to join our team. We offer a competitive salary, full time/day shift hours and paid time off benefits. Patient Intake Representatives are responsible for receiving referrals via phone, fax and email. You verify insurance eligibility and coverage for the requested service prior to creating work orders and all required documents for our technicians and clinicians. Business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.
You must be computer proficient. We use: Microsoft Office Suite and Windows based applications. We are striving to be a paperless operation.
You must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and a pleasant phone voice.
You should be familiar with Medical Terminology and HCPCS/ICD Coding.
You must be able to attend work as scheduled and be punctual.
