Accountant Job Opening in North Brunswick, New jersey - ACCOUNTANT
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Record monthly journal entries in the GL
Complete tax filings (941, 927, WR30, 1099, payroll)
Complete monthly closings and prepare financial statements
Complete monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Perform fixed asset accounting, reporting and monitor related system transactions
Assist with year end closings
Assist with annual audit
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications Necessary:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Three to five years related accounting experience
Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics Navision or similar accounting software application( SAP, PeopleSoft, Lawson)
MS Office Suite Competency
Non-profit experience a plus
