Sales Representative/Business Development Manager Job Opening in Tampa, Florida - Westcoast Brace & Limb is a growing orthotics and prosthetics company that services West Central Florida, and is looking for team member who enjoys working in a productive environment and will support our mission of restoring bodies and rebuilding lives.
We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated and organized individual as a field sales representative in Pinellas and Pasco counties. This position is responsible for building relationships and effectively promoting products and services to referral sources. This position will build customer confidence and receptiveness with the goal of developing rapport and maintaining personal relationships with all employed in private practices, medical groups, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, et cetera. This role is crucial in boosting the company?s profits and making the brand more visible to the public.
Essential Job Duties:
Calling on Physician offices, furthering relationships with area hospitals, and developing relationships with professional long-term care facilities (Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities).
Conducting in-services to further the company value to our Physician partners and their staff.
Analyze the demographics of the territory to determine which marketing strategies can be implemented and which would not work. (Smaller vs larger territories)
Research market (face to face marketing) to determine the profile of the target consumer and their needs.
Develop an ample pipeline of potential new referral prospects through cold calling and networking. Provide service support and follow-up on referrals.
Build and maintain collaborative and consultative business relationships with managers for continued business.
Support in the development of associated marketing materials
Maintain a creative mindset for social networking and updating of the company?s website.
Document and track territories visited, points of contact and what came of each visit, to make public with each practitioner and Marketing Director.
Event planning and execution of event; travel to each location for events.
Attend social gatherings during and after ?company time? to build personal relationships with other company employees and business partners.
Knowledge of the latest trends and what our competitors are doing.
Knowledge of the different advertising techniques and strategies.
Occasionally see patients with practitioners, empathize and meet needs.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Four year or greater degree from accredited university.
Minimum 2 years of sales in the healthcare industry.
Strong persuasive communication skills must be exceptional both written, verbal and nonverbal (body language) including strong active listening skills. Ability to interact socially with medical field representatives.
Experience in building rapport and maintaining relationships.
Must be comfortable with making cold calls.
Crucial to be hard working and self-motivated with effective time management and organizational skills to stay active in the field; ability to multi-task.
Excellent computer skills; social media and website savvy.
Highly customer focused. Excellent selling and presentation skills, proven track record of sales performance. Ability to be creative as it relates to obtaining business and maintaining relationships.
Possess qualities such as being confident, enthusiastic, tactful, positive and maintain a professional image; high integrity and trustworthy.
Ability to embrace new techniques and accept criticism.
Must be able to work independently as well as actively engage within the team and be a team player.
Must be a critical thinker, problem solver and possess creativity (think outside the box).
Ability to work flexible hours and attend after hour activities related to position.
Reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to client locations.
