Assistant Baker Job Opening in minneapolis, Minnesota - Assistant Baker Bread Art bakery in Bayport, MN (just south of Stillwater) is seeking a long term, full time baker/pastry chef. The ideal candidate would have the following abilities: Multi-tasking Friendly Motivated Attention to detail Enthusiastic Happy Energetic Positive Outgoing Work independently HONEST The successful candidate in this position will have the following qualifications: 2 years experience in a scratch bakery, preferred, including artisan breads and pastries Comfortable around ovens Can lift 50 pounds Ability to manage strict deadlines, and last minute requests with a positive attitude Self Starter, identifies issues and takes immediate action to correct Regular attendance and timeliness Shifts are overnights with weekend availability a must Willingness to learn new techniques and skills Follows recipes and directions well Can receive constructive feedback Since we are a small business we require someone who will be a solid, reliable employee with a good work ethic.
