Hyperbaric Technician Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - The hyperbaric technician operates the chamber and serves in the capacity of an inside observer. Attends to the various needs of hyperbaric patients before and during the hyperbaric treatment. Observes patients for signs of oxygen toxicity and reports to the chamber operator.
Experience: Must possess patient assessment and care experience. Hyperbaric experience is preferred, however will train as needed.
Skills: CPR, patient assessment and care. Vital signs. Documentation skills, computer skills. Attendance of the Introductory to Hyperbaric Medicine Course is required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. BLS Certification. EMT not required, but a plus.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass a dive physical. Must be able to lift 75lbs. to waist level. Must be able to assist in lifting patients of varying weights onto and off of a gurney.
Working Conditions: Must be able to work in confined space for short and extended periods of time. Must be able to perform the functions of the on-call technician where applies. Must be able to work under varying levels of stress.
Looking for part-time and PRN (as needed) staff.
