We seek an experienced Bookkeeper to manage accounting processes for our established and growing company.
This position reports to the CEO and requires 2 years experience in a leadership role as bookkeeper. The bookkeeper is knowledgeable of general accounting principles, maintains awareness of regulatory requirements and demonstrates high proficiency in data management and financial analysis. This role participates in weekly executive meetings, communicates often with our General Managers and reports directly to the CEO/owner.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Strength in multi-tasking and attention to detail
Desire to seek out processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook and Excel) & QuickBooks
Ability to serve as an ambassador for our brands
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain organized office filing system and accounting archives
Manage general office functions to include mail, phone and assistance to the CEO
Lead bookkeeping processes to include but not limited to:
General ledger coding
Accounts payable, including inquiries and verifications
Accounts receivable
Deposits
Bank reconciliation
Credit card reconciliation
Journal entry
Tax filings
Cash position reporting
Produce accurate and timely monthly financial statements and needed reports
Update Vendor Contact List
