RN
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success the practice by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork. Will utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families.
Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
Obtain patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
Obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.
Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response. Refer to/consult with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent/resolve problems or concerns.
Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Document patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
Track quality assurance data and monitor for acute and chronic care management.
May act as team lead for other nursing staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) required.
LPN
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, Licensed Practical Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of the practice by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families.
Performs basic nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
Collects patient data such as vital signs; notes how the patient looks and acts, or responds to stimuli, and reports this information accordingly.
Prepares and administers injections, performs routine tests, treats wounds, and changes bandages.
Prepares patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
Administers certain prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.
Participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
Monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.
Conveys information to patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Participates in teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing program.
Must have current/valid Licensed Practical Nurse license from the state licensing board.
Must have current healthcare provider CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.
Certified Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the health care provider, Certified Medical Assistant II is responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and wellbeing of all patients. Accurately preforms preliminary physical tests such as: measures blood pressure, records weight, temperature, pulse and respiration and other measures as directed by established clinical protocols.
Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem.
May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topically, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration.
May perform routine tests including but not limited to EKG?s.
Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and follows up to ensure completion of testing.
Communicate with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician.
Prepare, clean and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment; keep patient exam rooms stocked, clean and orderly; dispose of contaminated items according to protocol.
Document patient plan(s) of care, tests and examination results in the medical record as directed by the provider.
Escalate non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns to the practice manager or healthcare provider(s).
Ensure safety checklists/quality controls are completed as required.
Provide for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights.
Perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, MA Lead or as requested by healthcare provider(s).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current/valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required if applicable.

Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Radiologic Technologist (AART) II is responsible for operates radiology equipment to make imaging films as directed by physicians and performs radiographic and cardiopulmonary procedures for routine diagnosis and treatment purposes. Performs specialized procedures for diagnosis and assistance in the design of treatment for patients including venography, myelography and gastrointestinal exams.
Produce and perform all diagnostic radiographs procedures, to be interpreted by the physician or radiologist.
Position patients and adjust equipment for taking diagnostic images following established procedures.
Examine radiology film and/or digital exams for properties such as density and contracts, definition, magnification and distortion.
Take x-rays of various portions of the body in order to diagnosis disease or injury.
Follow safety principles, radiation protection, and the general comfort and care of the patient.
Record test results and monitors patient data.
Maintain radiographic log, in accordance with the policy, taking responsibility for documentation of exam, patient?s name, and/or retake reason.
Maintain separate report on all diagnostic x-rays.
Maintain accurate department records to satisfy both the state and federal regulations.
File and maintain shipping and receiving log of radiographs and other diagnostic tests requested. * Maintain current MSDS forms for radiology department.
Calibrate and maintain x-ray equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Associate degree from accredited school of radiologic technologist required.
Current/valid registration by the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT) required. * Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
