Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Bay City, Michigan - Kerkau Manufacturing is looking for a full time inside Sales Representatives. Previous experience in a sales position is preferred and will receive first consideration. Kerkau is looking for highly motivated and reliable candidates familiar with sales operations and quoting products.
Inside Sales Representatives are required to answer incoming calls from customers, and provide prompt product quotation in order to garner sales. Inside sales personnel are tasked with learning the various products that Kerkau sells in order to provide customers with accurate information and quality products.
Starting Responsibilities:
* Develop an understanding of our products.
* Learning the quotation and order entry processes
* Follow up with current and potential customers by email or phone
Transitioning Responsibilities:
* Continue to work and get comfortable talking and engaging with customers
* Occasional sales trips throughout North America

Qualifications
Experience in a sales position or working with a sales department
One to Two years of experience in customer service type functions with an ability to deal with a variety of differing customer situations
Good reading, writing and mathematical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to collect and organize information
